Nägele Feinwerktechnik GmbH receives the ISO 9001: 2015 certification from Dekra.

In September, the 20th anniversary of the company Kranz & Nägele as well as the 15th anniversary of the company OptoPrecision was celebrated.

15 years after founding Kranz & Nägele, the Group has an annual turnover of €5 million and is still growing and employs more than 55 highly qualified members of staff.

In April 2010 the Kranz- und Nägele Feinwerktechnik OHG becomes Nägele Feinwerktechnik GmbH.

In October 2009, OptoPrecision Security Systems GmbH is founded as a sales and marketing company that offer, in addition to the products of OptoPrecision, other products for operational technology mainly designed for the police, military and security services.

The newly built company premises in the commercial area of Bremen-Horn reflect the strong growth of the two companies.

On 3rd of January 2001 OptoPrecision GmbH is founded by separating the development & sales departments of the Kranz & Nägele Feinwerktechnik.

An integrated management system is established. ISO 9001 certification and environmental audit validation supports the development of systems for industrial manufacturing.

The founders go their separate ways with Dr. Martin Nägele continuing to lead the company on his own.

Bernhard Kranz, workshop supervisor at the university of Bremen and Dr. Martin Nägele establish the Kranz- und Nägele Feinwerktechnik OHG at the Bremen Innovations and Technology Centre (BITZ).

Dr. Martin Nägele began working freelance developing optical devices.
