The portable endoscopic camera system is designed for the observation of thermal plants. Our clients also use them for the surveillance of processes and the adjustment of process parameters.
The system is very light and designed for portability. It is capable of operating at temperatures of up to 1600 °C. The proven lens delivers excellent pictures from inside the combustion chamber, which can be examined and analysed on site when connected to a video monitor (video recorder). Alternatively, use with an eyepiece for direct observation or connect to a SLR camera. A combination of compressed air and cooling water ensures safe operation, even under extreme conditions.
The endoscopic furnace camera is a product of our partner Cesyco Kinoptik Endoscopy.
Principle of operation
In order to withstand high temperature, a cooling jacket protects the endoscope. Cooling is ensured by circulating water and air between three nested jackets. The spiral design creates a vortex effect that allows for low water usage.
The front lens is protected by a continuous circulation of air that cools down the objective lens. The picture is generated by an optical tube with high-resolution lens and prisms. To clean the optical lens the tube can be removed without dismantling the endoscope.
The system has two optical lenses with different viewing angles and the necessary adapters for connecting an eyepiece, an industrial or SLR camera.
