Video surveillance system PerIs will soon also be used in Zittau
For more than three years, the video surveillance system PerIS has been used successfully as an important supporting element in criminal prosecution in the border area of the city of Görlitz. For 2023, OptoPrecision was commissioned by the Saxon police to expand the system to the neighboring city of Zittau. Numerous criminal offenses have been solved since 2019 with the help of high-resolution video recordings in connection with the efficient software package from PerIs and finally brought to justice.
PerIS thus represents an important building block in the work of the Görlitz police and is also repeatedly used nationwide for administrative assistance by other police departments.
