Our infrared laser illumination systems LaserFlash are designed for professional applications of investigating authorities to illuminate objects at short, medium and long ranges.
The invisible, eye-safe laser light allows the authorities to operate safely in public areas to illuminate observation objects over a distance of several hundred meters without being detected in situations of poor visibility or at night.

Why laser-based illumination and not the use of LEDs

The spectral bandwidth of the laser is by far smaller than the bandwidth of LEDs. Using this in combination with bandpass filters opens the opportunity to get rid of disturbing light sources like headlights of vehicles. This can be essential in professional applications. Stable illumination conditions are achieved in shadow regions behind street lights.
